GSPGA is dedicated to meeting the needs of the Pygmy Goat community in Southern and Central California and beyond.  We are excited to offer NPGA sanctioned shows throughout Southern and  Central California, as well as provide education, training, and a place for breeders to promote their herds.

GSPGA HIGH POINT SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION

  • Each year we will tally up points for the top 5 exhibitors in each of the showmanship classes at all 4 of our shows.  
  • The top 1st & 2nd place youth in Minis, PeeWees, Juniors, Intermediates, Seniors, and Adults will be awarded prizes at the first show in 2027.  
  • No membership required and all are automatically entered.  
  • In case of a tie, the exhibitor who participated the most will get the placing.
  • Good luck to all!  
  • Make sure to access the NPGA site under Youth for great study material for the Knowledge portion of Showmanship.
  • How Points will be tallied:
    1st--10 
    2nd--8 
    3rd--6 
    4th--4 
    5th--2 
    All participants will receive 3 points just for competing.
